Description:
Our client, an innovative leader in outdoor recreational products, is seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst at their corporate office located in Sonoma County, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst position reports to the IT Business Systems Manager with an emphasis and focus on all Oracle business functions defined as order-to-cash, customer compliance and e-Commerce. The application scope mainly includes but not exclusive to Order Management and Accounts Receivable. The position maintains and coordinates the ongoing development of EDI initiatives and its table maintenance, shipping activities, freight assignment, manifesting, credit and billing, pricing and managing our B2B portal. This position requires a confident knowledge of and the ability to discuss Oracle Application set-ups and configurations, documenting business and functional requirements, process flows, as well as user acceptance testing and training. The ability to work well with people and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization is essential. The position will determine project scope, feasibility and ROI on new and existing projects. The position will work closely with IT (including technical developers), in-house Sales and Finance Departments to aid with the delivery of solutions that will enhance user efficiencies, their experience and productivity.

Major Responsibilities:
• Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems.
• Performs and manages production issues in an Oracle environment.
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective.
• Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation.
• Develops and executes systems testing.
• Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups
• Work with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
• Responsible for identifying, assessing, and documenting functional requirements.
• Assist team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed.
• Prepare relevant test scenarios.
• Responsible for all aspects of system testing, implementation, maintenance, support and documentation.
• Works independently and is responsible for project coordination tasks (ex. Change Management).
• Provides analytical/technical expertise to enable improvements in service, quality, productivity and cost reduction.

Job Requirements:
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
• 5 to 7 years experience as an Oracle business analysis
• Highly Motivated, confident and independent with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• 3 to 4 years Project Implementation Management experience
• Solution Proposal (business process flow diagrams, cost-benefit analysis, and business impact analysis)
• Solid knowledge and experience with business intelligence or data analytic tools (SQL+, TOAD, Discoverer)
• Solid experience with Order Management and Accounts Receivable modules in the Oracle product Suite
• Knowledgeable of EDI requirements and fundamental data flow
• Experience with maintaining an environment for Shipping & Freight Mgmt
• Experience with operational systems; ERP, Customer Support Systems, Hardware and Software Quality
• Excellent written and verbal skills to document, present and negotiate business requirements to the business and technical teams

Working Conditions:
As indicated by responsibilities; ability to handle multiple priorities

Physical Endurance:
Computer terminal use 6 hours per day. Moving boxes of products for shipping. Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

Environment:
Standard Office. Domestic and International travel to include weekends and for periods as long as a week at a time.
