| Our client, an innovative leader in ordinance and tactical systems is looking for you, an experienced Product Line Manager, to join their team at their corporate offices located in the heart of the wine country, Sonoma County, Northern California. This position is responsible for the direction of all activities required to achieve Product Line tactical and strategic business goals through the effective management of both direct reports and other company resources. Note: All applicants must possess experience with the following as a condition for consideration: • BS, BA (MS, MBA preferred) relevant to the operation of a product development and manufacturing business within the aerospace-defense industry. • Experience with missile actuator control systems is highly desired • 10 years experience in multiple disciplines relevant to manufacturing, product development, production and project management and business development. • Strong leadership skills. • Program and contract management, negotiation skills. • U.S. Citizenship (Permanent Residency) required for all positions Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: • Responsible for Product Line customer satisfaction. Ensures that all customer stakeholder requirements are met. • Provides direction and leadership associated with meeting product line tactical and strategic goals • Responsible for Product Line Orders, Sales, and EBIT. • Proposes and manages Product Line specific capital and budgets. • Assures accomplishment of marketplace initiatives by utilizing effective teaming, marketing, technology and manufacturing strategies. • Develops organization structures within the Product Line, including both dedicated and shared support resources to enable the effective conduct of the business. • Develops, counsels and motivates direct reports and high potential employees for the purpose of succession planning. • Represents client to the Product Line customers, and to other client locations in order to provide information about the Product Line and to promote client within the industry. • Prepares, reviews, and approves various documents necessary for the conduct of business and preparation of proposals. • Regularly reports to the rest of operations and management status of Orders, Sales, EBIT, risks, opportunities and program or technical issues.
